AstroPlant!

One of Eca's current projects uses novel astronomy techniques to measure plant activity. After delays on equipment delivery the main project now falls amidst the teaching term. Eca books a solid week to visit the lab and work on the project during the spring break.
She is excited by the project which is highly interdisciplinary, using new toys (she means tools) to study plants - something she loves the most about research!
She arrives and although it's not quite what she expected, the first day goes well. The core technology works although the process for monitoring is not ideal. But all in all a positive start.

Eca goes back to the hotel and sorts through the data, matching up time points and back checking the numbers. Something isn't right. There should be a delay between treatment and measurement but there is no delay.
The next day she raises this concern and they do more tests. No-one believes her. Although the core technology is clearly working, the monitoring equipment must be picking up a different signal - but what would she know? She's a biologist.
On the last day, after a note book full of drawn diagrams to explain why there's a problem they finally believe her and agree to do further testing.
Eca knows this is all part of building new relationships but after an exhausting week, she can't help but feel a little disappointed. The project will continue - but first she has other things needing her attention….

Which task will she tackle next?
